Care

Granite is a very durable stone and for the most part is carefree, but as a natural product there are some helpful suggestions that will keep your granite looking like the day it was installed. Do not use vinegar or anything that may contain ammonia, bleach or specialty bathroom, tile or grout cleaners that may contain acids. These chemicals could have a bleaching and can effect on some of the minerals in the stone.
Do's
- Do dust surfaces frequently.
- Do clean surfaces with specially formulated granite cleaner.
- Do thoroughly rinse and dry the surface after washing.
- Do blot up spills immediately.
Dont's
- Don't use vinegar, lemon juice or other cleaners containing acids.
- Don't use cleaners that contain acid such as bathroom cleaners, grout cleaners or tub & tile cleaners.
- Don't use abrasive leaners such as dry cleansers or soft cleansers.

The price difference is based solely on the color of the pre-fabricated slab and not on the quality of the granite. Pre-fabricated slabs with a lot of movement like Artic Cream and Desert Storm will have huge waves and beautiful colors and will be in the higher group categories and colors with less movement and uniform patterns will be in the lower categories.
